Rising costs of electricity

Towards the free electricity …

The constant growth of the world’s population, the ever-increasing demand for electricity driving progress in the developing areas as well as the rising number of electrical appliances per household in the developed countries have significantly increased global energy demand.

On the other hand the volume of the available fossil fuels (oil, gas, uranium, etc.) declines. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA) assuming that the planets population will continue to rise at the current rate and reach 9 billion in the next 40 years, the reserves of gas and oil will fall by 40 to 60% by 2030.

As with all existing markets, a falling supply (reserves) combined with an increase in demand inevitably leads to the growth of prices.

Contrary to that, renewable energies by definition, have no supply limit. The energy from the sun is exploitable on the whole surface of the globe. It’s also, in essence, a source of free electricity.
